Lakehead University’s offers on-campus housing at both campuses. The Orillia campus offers traditional style accommodation for 271 students in environmentally sustainable buildings. All rooms are private and share a bathroom with one other student. Residence operates on a first-come, first-served basis. The Thunder Bay campus offers three styles of residence: traditional residence style, apartment style, and townhouse style. Traditional residence halls feature double and single bedrooms with communal washrooms. Townhouse style accommodations, which are reserved for upper year students, feature units with 4 private bathrooms, shared washrooms and a shared kitchen. Apartment style residence offers multiple bedrooms, a shared washroom, shared kitchenette and shared living spaces. Building amenities for both campuses include:

All rooms include internet access, local telephone service, and cable television access.
